Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLC-related wiring, panels, and sensors.
• Diagnose electrical issues in feed mill and grain handling equipment (conveyors, bucket elevators, grinders, mixers, pellet mills, etc.).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns during production hours, including nights or weekends as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, new installations, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and company safety policies.
• Lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices at all times.
• Work closely with maintenance, operations, and management teams to support production goals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
