Job summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

• 1. Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of complex machinery including FANUC robotics, hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, and electrical systems.
• 2. Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• 3. Implementing mechanical maintenance best practices to ensure the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
• 4. Working with a variety of plastics processing machinery including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming.
• 5. Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance the efficiency and functionality of machinery and equipment.
• 6. Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and implement new processes.
• 7. Ensuring all maintenance work and repairs comply with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this exciting role will have:

• 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the engineering industry.
• 2. Proven experience with FANUC robotics, hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, and electrical systems.
• 3. Extensive knowledge of mechanical maintenance and experience with plastics processing machinery including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming.
• 4. A strong understanding of safety regulations and maintenance protocols.
• 5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• 6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• 7. A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field would be an advantage.
