Job Description

The technician is responsible for fulfilling the requirements of a Maintenance Level 3 electrical technician. This includes participating in team activities, following instructions, and having a basic understanding of plant systems. The role involves performing routine jobs such as daily equipment checks and inspections, preventive maintenance, and demonstrating consistent, safe work habits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 2 years vocational schooling in electrical trade or equivalent, plus 2 years hands-on electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting. Journeyman Electrician license is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, electrical schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and knowledge of their proper use.
• Ability to troubleshoot motor control circuits, PLCs, and AC/DC drives; basic electrical theory application.
• Ability to remove and replace mechanical assemblies like blowers, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
• Experience with CMMS programs such as EAM and routine report typing on computers.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure.
• Good attendance, work performance, and ability to perform essential job functions.
• Willingness to work on a 24-hour on-call schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of 90-day review period.
• Must complete Maintenance Mechanical Tests.
