Software Placement Group in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to diagnose, repair, and optimize CNC production machinery in a multi-spindle environment. This hands-on role focuses on keeping equipment operating reliably and supporting a busy machining operation.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with operators and vendors to improve uptime and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or repairing CNC equipment and other complex production machinery.
• Strong mechanical, electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial production machinery and controls
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using schematics, manuals, testing equipment and input from machine operators
• Repair, replace, disassemble and rebuild machine components and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and help improve equipment reliability
• Work with industrial wiring, machine controls, transformers and electrical testing equipment
• Support machine rebuilds, installations and equipment moves
• Weld or fabricate components when needed for repairs
• Work with outside vendors on difficult equipment problems
• Document repairs, parts usage and maintenance activity
• Help operators and other maintenance personnel better understand equipment and recurring problems

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI | Schedule: Full-time, on-site, Day Shift Mon-Thurs 6am-4pm with paid lunch

Overview

A long-established, stable precision manufacturer experiencing significant growth is strengthening its maintenance team to support a busy machining operation. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys diagnosing problems, repairing machinery, and figuring out why equipment isn't performing as it should, in an environment that includes multi-spindle machining equipment and a variety of other industrial production machinery.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial production machinery and controls
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using schematics, manuals, testing equipment and input from machine operators

• Strong combination of mechanical aptitude, industrial electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
