The African American Planning Commission is seeking a maintenance worker responsible for keeping facilities clean and healthy for clients and staff. You will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to support safe, orderly operations.

Maintenance workers hold a position that is not generally associated with social services. It is therefore particularly important that the incumbent understands that they are part of an interdisciplinary team and share as a goal the provision to homeless families of safe and secure shelter and also services necessary to facilitate successful relocation to permanent housing. Maintenance staff are expected to interact with clients in a supportive and positive way, maintaining as high a standard of professionalism as any other staff.
Base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $37,856.
