Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in maintenance or mechanical work under supervision of a skilled tradesperson.
• Completion of the NYS CSEA-P Applied Skilled Trades Certificate Program, including 288 hours of trade-specific instruction plus math, communications, and blueprint reading coursework.

Responsibilities

• Operate light equipment such as power mowers and chainsaws.
• Perform tasks with hand and shop tools including saws, hammers, drills, sanders, and stationary power tools.
• Assist with construction trades including masonry, carpentry, and electrical.
• Assist in Dock Building and maintaining public use sites (mowing, trash pickup, signage).
