We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Director to join our thriving community in Oklahoma City.

Job Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth mechanical operation of all facility equipment. Responsibilities include developing and implementing preventative maintenance, monitoring the physical equipment, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and fire regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and document a preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain safe operating and fire prevention practices.
• Investigate mechanical failures and prevent recurrence.
• Repair emergency breakdowns promptly.
• Advise the Administrator on building wear and tear, cleaning, and deodorizing needs.
• Participate in annual repair budget preparation and report issues to the Executive Director.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarm and emergency systems, keeping records of tests.
• Maintain heating and cooling systems, inspecting and preparing them seasonally.
• Keep repair logs and address issues timely.
• Maintain drain, access areas, grease traps, waste areas, and mechanical rooms.
• Assist in staffing decisions, employee evaluations, and wage adjustments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, heating, cooling, or plumbing preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years supervisory maintenance experience.
• HVAC experience required.
• Must be licensed according to current standards, codes, and laws.
