Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the safety and comfort of patients and residents in our nursing center. You will supervise the maintenance team and ensure well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing surroundings, while complying with applicable laws.

This on-site leadership role requires hands-on repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, plus managing records, budgets and on-call emergency coverage 24/7.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Supervise maintenance department and orient new staff.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems.
• Keep required records and perform budget planning.
• Be on-call for emergencies 24/7.
• Operate on the TELS platform for Life Safety and daily tasks.
