Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from technical/trade school with 2 years maintenance experience or equivalent combo.
• Knowledge of building codes, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• OSHA safety requirements compliance.
• Should communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage attractive and well-maintained grounds.
• Schedule repair/maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air for operations and maintain equipment; develop preventive maintenance programs.
• Review equipment needs with design engineers and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor and contain expenditures.
• Perform duties in accordance with policies, standards, and safety laws.
