Job summary

Harborview-Health-System is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the facility's ongoing maintenance of mechanical systems and infrastructure. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, life-safety compliance, and readiness for surveys within a healthcare environment.

The director will prioritize work orders, supervise maintenance staff, and coordinate with vendors to ensure safe, compliant operation of all building systems and sites.

Qualifications

• NFPA knowledge or experience preferred.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
• Availability to respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
• Experience managing vendors and maintenance budgets is a plus.
• Proven documented success in NC Life Safety Survey.
