Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead our facility operations, overseeing routine maintenance of mechanical systems and life-safety compliance. You will drive reliability and safety across the campus, ensuring CMS adherence and survey readiness.

In this role you will develop a preventive maintenance program, manage maintenance staff and budgets, and coordinate with vendors. Healthcare, senior living, or hospitality maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NFPA knowledge preferred.
• Experience in healthcare facility maintenance.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems knowledge.
• Emergency maintenance availability.
• Vendor and maintenance budget experience.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilledMaintenance Director

What You Will Do

• Oversee and perform routine maintenance of facility mechanical systems

• Develop a preventative maintenance practice and maintain all aspects of the building and site in excellent repair and working order

• Prioritize and complete work orders in TELS

• Maintain life safety compliance per CMS regulations

• Support survey readiness and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• Manage maintenance staff

• Duties as assigned

What You Must Have

• NFPA knowledge and experience preferred

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance

• Availability to respond to emergency maintenance needs as required

• Experience managing vendors and maintenance budgets is a plus
