Job summary
Journey is seeking a Maintenance Director in Flowery Branch, GA to lead facility operations, ensure safety and code compliance, and manage a skilled maintenance team. The role involves developing maintenance systems, coordinating projects, and driving continuous improvement to support residents and staff.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory maintenance experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting, with strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory maintenance experience in healthcare facilities
- Strong understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and architectural systems
- Licensed and compliant with applicable standards; valid driver’s license
- Proven leadership, organizational and technical skills with focus on safety and compliance
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and oversee all maintenance programs with safety compliance
- Supervise preventive maintenance, repairs, and unplanned projects across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems
- Ensure life safety and OSHA standards are met and budgets/schedules are managed
