Team and Responsibilities

You will join an experienced, hard-working team that values communication and strong teamwork abilities.

• Maintain the physical plant and essential mechanical, electrical, and SNF resident care equipment in safe operating condition.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge and analytic ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions. Coordinate activities of outside contractors and tradespeople for construction, repair, and maintenance.
• Manage departmental budget, order supplies, and track inventory.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, codes, and regulations related to maintenance services and records of long-term care, including life safety codes.
• Potential supervision of housekeeping and laundry departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of physical plant and equipment experience in an institutional environment with supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical preferred.
