Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Director for our senior living community in Wisconsin. The role oversees preventive maintenance of the facility, equipment and grounds, and troubleshoots issues as they arise. You will coordinate with licensed vendors and support residents with moving and minor repairs.

Ideal candidates have prior building maintenance experience, team leadership skills, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time, on-site position within our community.

Qualifications

About the Opportunity

The Maintenance Director is responsible for the ongoing preventative maintenance of the facility building, equipment and grounds and for troubleshooting maintenance problems when they arise. Ensures that maintenance services are available for emergency needs that may arise outside of regular working hours. Performs most tasks independently and utilizes properly licensed vendors approved by administration for assistance with tasks when needed. Assists residents with moving and minor repairs.

• Practices good safety awareness and follows safety procedures, including infection control measures where applicable.
• Ability to be self-supervising and self-motivating. Able to set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Must demonstrate a positive, courteous and respectful attitude to residents, families, staff and visitors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in building maintenance.
• Prior experience in managing a team.
• Plumbing, including but not limited to design/mechanics of commodes, plumbing fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; must have clean driving record with no major violations.
