Job summary

Ambler Extended Care Center is seeking a full-time environmental services/maintenance professional responsible for maintaining the Life Safety Code, the physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities, and for upholding health, sanitary, and infection control policies. This role supports a compassionate team in a skilled nursing setting, with shifts Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in environmental services, maintenance, or relative trade, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality industry.
• Life Safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Life Safety Code, facility, equipment, grounds and utilities in good working order.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to ensure the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in environmental services, maintenance, or relative trade, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality industry.

• Life Safety experience preferred.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 4:30p

• Wage: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
