Addison of Port Orange is a premier retirement community in Port Orange, FL, seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team and ensure safe, comfortable living environments for residents.

You will oversee grounds, building systems, and equipment, coordinate repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards while supporting a high-quality living experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance required or preferred.
• Knowledge of structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds and exterior; oversees interior maintenance and common areas.
• Oversees repair of equipment; ensures staff are trained in usage.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety records, emergency records, and state-required inspections.

Maintenance Director Responsibilities include:

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.
