Job summary

Nans Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance and construction across the facility and its grounds. You will manage cooling, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communications systems, perform carpentry, painting, cleaning and inspect equipment for safety and proper function.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to work independently and make decisions.

• Inspect all equipment and systems regularly for safety and proper functioning.

The Maintenance Director performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. He or she will maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment; perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Director:

• Work on the cooling, plumbing, gas, electrical, mechanical, oxygen and communication systems.
• Perform carpentry duties as needed.
• Paint, plaster and refinish items as needed.
• Perform heavy duty cleaning.
• Change screens and storm windows.
• Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety.
