Leisure Vale Assisted Living in Glendale, CA is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead maintenance and housekeeping teams in a compassionate, elderly-care environment. The role supervises daily operations, coordinates repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor work, and ensures health and safety compliance while mentoring staff for growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory role in maintenance/housekeeping.
• Healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repair techniques, and housekeeping.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee daily operations including repairs, preventive maintenance, and cleaning schedules.
• Conduct inspections to assess facility conditions and address maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Train and mentor staff on proper maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
