Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Maintenance Director in Wisconsin to lead the maintenance team, ensuring facility safety, appearance and reliable operation.

You will supervise staff, implement a preventive maintenance program and coordinate safety meetings, while aligning with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years diverse construction or maintenance supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; HVAC knowledge helpful
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
  • Maintenance experience in long-term care strongly preferred
  • Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, appearance and maintenance of the facility per regulations
  • Supervise/monitor work of department supervisors and staff
  • Establish an effective preventative maintenance program with priorities for unscheduled work
  • Ensure safety committee meetings are held regularly with complete documentation
  • Oversee compliance with Federal, State and local requirements

Position Summary

The Maintenance Director leads the maintenance team in ensuring that our grounds exceed the expectations of our patients and their families while they are in our care. This position plays a key role in the overall presentation of our center.

Posted Salary Range

USD $25.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure the overall safety, appearance and maintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and
  • Local requirements at all times
  • Supervises/Monitors work of department supervisors/personnel
  • Establishes an effective preventative maintenance program and a priority system for unscheduled maintenance
  • Ensure that safety committee meetings are held regularly, with complete and accurate documentation
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must have at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D
  • Minimum of 3 years diverse construction or maintenance related experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Must be knowledgeable various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; HVAC certification a plus but not required
  • Must have knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  • Maintenance experience in long term care strongly preferred
  • Reliable transportation required
