Summary:

The Maintenance Director manages the facility's daily and preventative maintenance program by working hands-on within the facility, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of interior/exterior areas. The Maintenance Director supervises and supports the maintenance staff to ensure they provide efficient, timely, and competent maintenance service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support maintenance staff to ensure efficient, timely, and competent service.
• Complete daily facility inspections.
• Recommend repair or replacement of interior and exterior components.
• Understand and adhere to maintenance budgets.
• Monitor maintenance and upkeep of mechanical equipment, including water heaters, HVAC units, and kitchen equipment.
• Perform or supervise installations, carpentry, repairs, plumbing, painting, vinyl work, minor roof repairs, etc.
• Manage maintenance storage and mechanical rooms.
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
