Job summary

Serenity Estates of Morris is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the upkeep of our senior living community. You will oversee the physical plant, coordinate preventive maintenance, and manage capital projects to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

In this role you will supervise trades, develop budgets, schedule repairs, and collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school/associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years maintenance experience; healthcare/senior living experience a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
