Job summary

The Laurels of Kent is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead the facility's physical plant and essential equipment to safe, compliant operation. You will supervise staff, plan and direct work, and ensure adherence to regulations and standards across the campus in Michigan.

Responsibilities include managing the TELS platform, coordinating maintenance activities, and upholding quality care environments while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three years physical plant and equipment experience in an institutional environment with supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Management of the TELS platform and associated task completion.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Interviews, hires and trains employees.
• Plans, assigns and directs work.
• Prepares work assignment sheets.
