Job summary

Arcadia Care seeks a Maintenance Director to plan and direct the Maintenance Department, ensuring safe, comfortable facility conditions in line with regulations.

Responsibilities include organizing programs, coordinating services with other departments, and reporting to the Administrator to optimize overall operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care.
• Former Maintenance Department experience.
• Must have patience, tact, a pleasant disposition & enthusiasm, and be willing to handle residents based on their maturity level.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Maintenance Director is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current, federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department, its programs and activities.
• Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the Maintenance Department.
• Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related department. Make written or oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Maintenance Department.
