Job summary

Arcadia Care in Bloomington, IL seeks a Maintenance Director to plan, organize, develop, and direct the maintenance department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards. The goal is to assure the facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner for residents and staff.

The director will supervise operations, coordinate services with other departments, and report to the Administrator to ensure compliant, efficient facility management.

Qualifications

• Long-term care experience is preferred.
• Former maintenance department experience is preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, a pleasant disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on their maturity level.

• Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the Maintenance Department.
• Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related department. Make written or oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator as necessary/required concerning the operation of the Maintenance Department.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Maintenance Director is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current, federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Long Term Care Care.

Former Maintenance Department experience.
