Job summary

Healthcare Nursing of Connecticut is seeking a qualified Maintenance Director for our skilled nursing facility. The role entails overseeing a broad range of maintenance tasks, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance to keep residents safe and comfortable.

You will lead the maintenance team, conduct inspections, implement preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and stay on call for emergencies to protect residents and property.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Working knowledge of state and federal Life Safety Code is required.
• At least 1-year experience working as a Maintenance Director in a skilled nursing facility setting is preferred.
