Job summary

Trustwell Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our senior living community in top condition. You’ll lead maintenance operations, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, and coordinate with licensed pros as needed.

You’ll prepare apartments for new residents and conduct daily site walks, ensuring safety and comfort. Experience in senior living or healthcare is valued, with OSHA/Life Safety familiarity encouraged.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a similar setting.
  • Skills in at least two of the following: carpentry, painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or refurbishing.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and tasks independently.
  • Friendly, respectful demeanor with residents and families.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs and operate tools safely.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, Life Safety Code, and assisted living regulations (or willingness to learn).
  • Prior experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or property management.
  • Comfort using basic computer programs to track maintenance logs and budgets.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead all maintenance operations to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

What We’re Looking For:
