Job summary

Harmony Utica Ridge is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead and manage all maintenance operations for a skilled nursing facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with codes.

The role requires experience in SNF maintenance, strong leadership, and the ability to oversee complex building systems and grounds, with a focus on resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Five years of Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Associate's degree in Construction Technology or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all internal and external maintenance for the facility and grounds.
• Ensure the building, systems and equipment meet safety codes and maintenance schedules are followed.
• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure reliable operations and resident safety.

Education

Three years of experience in facility maintenance

As a Maintenance Director you are critical in maintaining all internal and external aspects of the facility and grounds. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at by overseeing and supervising all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring the facility and grounds meet all related safety codes and ensuring that equipment and systems maintenance schedules are monitored and followed. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience working in a facility maintenance capacity. Five (5) years of prior Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and an associate's degree in Construction Technology or similar field is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
