Job summary

Sonida Senior Living in College Station is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance of the property and equipment ensuring functionality and safety. This role includes maintaining building and grounds, preparing apartments for residents, and ensuring compliance with state safety regulations. Candidates should have experience in maintenance and familiarity with repair techniques for various systems. Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
