Job summary

Waccamaw Management, an Associa company, is seeking a Maintenance Custodian for a community in Myrtle Beach, SC. The schedule is Tuesday – Saturday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.

This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position operates outdoors in all weather and includes weekends, with benefits such as medical, vision, dental and supplemental insurance, plus Paid Time Off and Holiday pay. You will perform light maintenance and custodial duties to keep common areas clean and safe, maintain pool areas, and report

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
• Customer service focused and team oriented.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Light maintenance duties (i.e. painting, replacing bulbs, power washing).
• Custodial duties (i.e. cleaning common areas, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, ensuring grounds are free of litter and debris, trash receptacles emptied, dumpster area clean).
• Maintaining cleanliness of pool areas.
• Reporting of progress for projects and updates to manager(s).
• Weekends required.
• Must be dependable and a self-starter; must be an independent worker.

Job Description

Waccamaw Management, an Associa company, is hiring a Maintenance Custodian for is community in Myrtle Beach, SC. The schedule is Tuesday – Saturday 7:30am – 4:00pm. It is the general responsibility of janitorial/maintenance personnel to perform work necessary to assure that all common areas of the community are kept clean and in good operating condition. Primarily, this position is outside, year round, through all elements of weather. The shift includes weekend work. This is a full-time, forty hour/week position with benefits including medical, vision, dental and supplemental insurance, as well as Paid Time Off and Holiday pay. This position is located in the Myrtle Beach, SC area.

Daily job duties and responsibilities

• Light Maintenance duties (i.e. painting, replacing bulbs, power washing, etc.)
• Custodial duties (i.e. cleaning common areas, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, ensuring grounds are free of litter and debris, ensuring trash receptacles are emptied and dumpster area is free of debris and litter, clean restrooms, using a blower for parking lots and stairs, etc.)
• Maintaining cleanliness of pool(s) and pool areas
• Reporting of progress for projects and updates to manager(s)
• Must be dependable
• Must be a self-starter
• Must be an independent worker
• Weekends required
• Must pass background check and drug screen
