Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cafeteria duties 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Repair and maintain boilers, chillers, cooling towers, RTUs, DDC; assist building/mechanical specialists.
  • Maintain PRVs and roof drains, clean roof decks and cooling coils.
  • Divide maintenance and custodial work and time as needed.
  • Clean building areas and move/assemble furniture.
  • Aid with building set-ups and tear-downs as needed.

  • Maintenance experience in a public or commercial building, including preventative maintenance and the ability to work independently.
  • 2nd Class C boilers license required, 1st Class C boilers license preferred.
  • Hands on working experience with mechanical and electrical equipment including building automation systems.

  • Must have a good attendance record and be punctual.
  • Must have the desire to work in a cooperative manner and team environment.
  • Must have positive work performance evaluations. Must not have any recent disciplinary actions.
  • Must conduct a positive interview and receive a good reference from current and previous supervisors.
  • Must be physically qualified to perform assigned duties including lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis and display flexibility in cleaning and maintenance assignments.
  • Must receive a minimum score of 50% correct on the exam.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred
