Job summary

Oliver Healthcare Packaging in Feasterville-Trevose is seeking a Maintenance Custodian to keep production areas, cafeteria, restrooms, and common spaces clean, safe, and orderly. You will operate cleaning equipment, support waste/recycling, and assist Plant Services and production as needed.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, ability to work evenings or weekends, and the capacity to work independently with attention to detail. Prior custodial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling in cafeteria, bathrooms, production areas and other locations.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Maintain cafeteria tables, organize seating, and restock soap, towels, and condiments.
• Maintain bathrooms with soap and towels replenishment.
• Operate floor scrubber and perform cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Assist with waste/recycling duties and support maintenance staff as needed.

Maintenance Custodian

We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Custodian at our Feasterville facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Position Summary

Keeps production, cafeteria, restroom, hallway, recycling, and exterior areas clean, safe, and orderly. Performs custodial and sanitation duties, operates designated cleaning equipment, supports waste and recycling activities, and assists Plant Services and production as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling containers in the cafeteria, bathrooms, production areas, and other assigned locations.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop floors throughout assigned facility areas.
• Maintain the cafeteria by wiping tables and chairs, organizing tables and chairs, and replenishing hand soap, paper towels, and condiments.
• Maintain bathrooms and replenish hand soap and paper towels.
• Sweep hallways and operate the floor scrubber three times each week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Clean and flush the floor scrubber with water after each use.
• Clean production areas, including emptying production trash and cardboard bins and cleaning Dycem mats.
• Perform WEST job cleaning when required by production.
• Set up cardboard recycling Gaylords and move full Gaylords to Warehouse D, where the recycling trailer is located.
• Keep the compactor area clean and assist with the compactor swap-out every Thursday.
• Keep the area around the cardboard baler clean and assist with making bales when the baler is full.
• Clean doorknobs and other assigned surfaces within the plant.
• Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and other assigned plant areas.
• Perform the monthly grounds cleanup preventive maintenance activity and support upkeep of parking lots and lawns.
• Provide assistance to maintenance staff on specific assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the facility, with bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling as required to complete custodial duties.
• Work may involve operating custodial equipment, including a floor scrubber, and working near the compactor and cardboard baler while performing assigned support duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Special Requirements

• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
