Job summary

Mobis in Detroit is seeking a Maintenance Crib Analyst to assist the maintenance team by locating spare and MRO parts and organizing stowage in the spare rooms.

You will help manage cycle counts, support purchasing staff, and maintain SAP bin locations while coordinating with the maintenance manager on repairs and stock decisions.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and basic MS Office skills, with a willingness to learn automotive parts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment needed by the Maintenance Team.
• Support spare parts crib management.
• Supports purchasing personnel and supports management of spare rooms.
• Must work with purchasing personnel to properly organize spare parts and MRO parts.
• Must perform weekly cycle counts of spare parts and MRO parts.
• Must assist Purchasing Personnel with physical count audits (3 Times a Year).
• Must properly manage the inventory of spare parts with material check outs.
• Must keep track of safety levels/reorder levels of spare parts and MRO parts with Purchasing Personnel.
• Supports repairs of equipment.
• Must keep track of what repairs are sent out and received.
• Must work with Maintenance Manager or supervisor to distinguish what parts need to be repaired, scrapped, or put back into stock.
• Supports any special projects assigned by Maintenance Manager.
• SAP Management - Must be able to assign bin locations for spare parts on SAP.
• Purchasing - Must be able to follow company procedure to purchase any spare or MRO parts under $300 assigned by Maintenance Manager or Purchasing specialist.

Essential Duties:
