Green Garden Landscaping in Seattle seeks a reliable outdoor crew member to perform landscape maintenance and basic construction tasks.

You will follow directions, work safely with hand tools and powered equipment, and help document time and materials while building hands-on landscaping skills with a growing company. Requirements include ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a willingness to learn; prior outdoor labor experience is preferred but not required.

Formación

• Previous landscaping, construction, farming, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor work in rain, heat, cold, and uneven terrain.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are a plus, but not required unless assigned to drive.

• Follow crew-lead direction, ask questions when the scope is unclear, and report site conditions or obstacles before continuing incorrectly.

Green Garden Landscaping is a growing, established residential and commercial landscaping and construction company serving the greater Seattle area across maintenance, irrigation, enhancements, and design-build. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking team member who takes pride in outdoor work, follows direction, and wants to build real landscaping skills with a growing company.

What You'll Do

• Perform assigned landscape maintenance and enhancement work safely, efficiently, and according to the property scope and quality standard
• Complete tasks such as mowing, edging, line trimming, blowing, weeding, pruning, cleanup, mulching, planting, soil preparation, and material handling
• Support landscape construction, irrigation, hardscape, drainage, fencing, lawn renovation, and property-improvement work as assigned and trained
• Follow crew-lead direction, ask questions when the scope is unclear, and report site conditions or obstacles before continuing incorrectly
• Use mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, hand tools, and other assigned equipment safely and responsibly
• Protect plants, structures, hardscape, vehicles, utilities, and other client property while working
• Maintain a professional appearance and respectful conduct on every property; you represent Green Garden from the moment the crew arrives
• Keep jobsites, trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment clean and organized throughout the workday
• Record time and assigned job information honestly and help document materials, debris, damage, hazards, or incomplete work
• Check completed work, correct issues within your training and authority, and notify the crew lead when qualified help or additional time is needed
• Report injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment problems, client concerns, and property damage immediately
• Support teammates, arrive ready to work, and contribute to dependable route and project completion

What We're Looking For

• Previous landscaping, construction, farming, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience is preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn proper landscape techniques, plant care, equipment use, and safety practices
• Ability to follow instructions, work productively as part of a crew, and communicate early when something is unclear or unsafe
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor work in rain, heat, cold, and uneven terrain
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and readiness to begin work with required clothing and personal protective equipment
• Respectful, professional behavior around clients, coworkers, neighbors, and the public
• Ability to use mobile timekeeping or job-record systems after training
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are a plus, but not required unless assigned to drive
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude
• Interest in building a long-term career and growing into specialized, lead, or supervisory responsibilities
