A landscaping company in Seattle is looking for a Maintenance Crew Leader to manage a team and ensure all landscaping tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of landscape maintenance experience and 1 year in a supervisory role. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a maintenance crew.
• Oversee landscaping tasks including mowing and pruning.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Manage crew productivity and time on each job site to meet efficiency targets.
• Train and mentor crew members on techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
• Ensure accurate daily time tracking using company systems (LMN).
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct with clients on-site.
• Identify upsell opportunities and communicate enhancements to management.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE compliance.
• Operate dump trucks between job sites and lead 2–3 crew members daily.
• Ensure properties meet Green Garden's standards before leaving site.
• Communicate progress and equipment needs to management.

What you'll do:

• Lead and manage a maintenance crew through daily route completion, ensuring all properties are serviced per scope of work and quality standards
• Perform and oversee mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, mulching, and seasonal cleanup tasks
• Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle and equipment inspections; report any maintenance or safety issues immediately
• Manage crew productivity and time on each job site to meet route efficiency targets
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members on proper techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols
• Ensure accurate daily time tracking for yourself and all crew members using company systems (LMN)
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct when interacting with clients on-site
• Identify upsell opportunities and communicate potential enhancement work to management
• Enforce all company safety policies and ensure crew compliance with PPE requirements
• Responsibly drive company's dump trucks from jobsite-to-jobsite
• Lead and train 2-3 crew members with daily tasks technique, efficiency, and quality standards
• Ensure every property meets Green Garden's standard before leaving the site
• Communicate with management on job progress, client concerns, and equipment needs
• Keep equipment organized and report maintenance issues

What we're looking for:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a crew lead or supervisory role
• Proficiency operating mowers, line trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers
• Working knowledge of Pacific Northwest plant material, turf care, and seasonal maintenance practices
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude
