Job description

Position Details

This position is onsite at our Yorkville Plant.

Duration/Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/week. Overtime may be required based on department and company needs.

Shift/Work Days: First Shift. Maintenance Office hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, subject to change. Work days are Monday through Saturday, with weekends potentially required depending on department needs.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with inventory management and parts purchasing for a maintenance department is required.
  • Experience with a preventative maintenance program is highly preferred.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and company vehicle; capable of lifting 50 pounds.
  • Ability to execute and operate a maintenance program (training provided).
  • Effective communication of parts needs to Maintenance Manager.
  • Ability to monitor and predict usage of oil, grease, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine clerical and administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining files, and assisting the Maintenance Department Manager.
  • Assist with purchasing, maintaining parts room, inventory, and preventative maintenance program.
  • Check in materials, log entries, and manage check-in/check-out processes.
  • Manage inventory effectively.
  • Possess some mechanical experience (preferred).
  • Maintain acceptable stock levels in bins.
  • Label incoming parts and organize them correctly in bins.
Additional Information

No minimum education level required. Must be 18 years or older.
