8Fleet, Inc., a Los Angeles–based technology and logistics company, is seeking a hands‑on Fleet Maintenance Manager to keep vehicles ready to drive in Miami and Atlanta. You’ll schedule maintenance, manage repairs, and lead our Fleet Specialist team, spending time in the lot and the shop.

Bring 3+ years in fleet or automotive maintenance, strong vendor management, and experience with Fleetio, Samsara and ServiceUp.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in fleet, automotive or vehicle maintenance.
• Experience managing vendors and knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Familiar with fleet software (Fleetio, Samsara, ServiceUp).
• Willing to work a 24-hour operation, including nights, weekends, and on-call.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Own the preventive maintenance schedule for your market.
• Coordinate repairs and track downtime until back in service.
• Manage outside shops and vendors from scheduling through invoice review.
• Direct the Fleet Specialist team on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Track downtime and cost per vehicle, and keep maintenance records and inspections current.
• Take unsafe vehicles out of service and escalate safety issues.

Job Description

About The Role

You’ll make sure our vehicles are ready to drive. You’ll schedule maintenance, manage repair shops and vendors, direct our Fleet Specialists, and know at any hour what’s down and why. This is a hands‑on role. You’ll spend as much time in the lot and the shop as at a screen.

We’re hiring for Miami and Atlanta.

What You’ll Do

• Own the preventive maintenance schedule for your market.
• Coordinate repairs and track every vehicle until it’s back in service.
• Manage outside shops and vendors, from scheduling through invoice review.
• Direct the day‑to‑day work of the Fleet Specialist team.
• Track downtime and cost per vehicle, and keep maintenance records and inspections current.
• Take unsafe vehicles out of service and escalated safety issues right away.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years in fleet, automotive or vehicle maintenance (shop, dealership service, rental, delivery or transit fleet).
• Working knowledge of vehicle systems and experience managing vendors.
• Comfort with fleet software. We use Fleetio, Samsara and ServiceUp.
• Availability for a 24‑hour operation, including some nights, weekends and on‑call.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice to Have

• ASE certification or technician background.
• EV or hybrid experience.
• Experience leading a small team.

Compensation

Base Salary: $65,000–$71,000 + equity
