Gusmer Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to ensure our Fresno facility operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

You will coordinate maintenance activities with production teams, contractors, and leadership to maximize equipment performance and uptime. The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance coordination, hands-on repair experience, CMMS proficiency, and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance coordination in manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities and preventive maintenance programs to support safe, reliable, and efficient facility and equipment operations.
• Procure parts, materials, and maintenance supplies while monitoring expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Support troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of production and facility equipment by working with maintenance technicians and operations teams.
• Manage maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records within CMMS to ensure accurate tracking and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and service providers to support facility improvements, repairs, calibrations, and maintenance projects.
• Support facility safety initiatives by coordinating compliance-related inspections and safety equipment maintenance.

Maintenance Coordinator

Location: Onsite Fresno California

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Employment Status: Full-Time

Travel: Local travel required for parts and supply pickups; occasional vendor visits.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; overtime or weekend work as required by maintenance needs.

Pay: $32.00 to $34.00/hour

Position Overview

The Maintenance Coordinator, plays a key role in ensuring our facility operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Works collaboratively with production teams, contractors, and leadership, to coordinate maintenance activities, solve operational challenges, and help maximize equipment performance. Success in this role comes from a commitment to quality work, open communication, strong collaboration, and a proactive approach to safety, making a direct impact on the success of our operations every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities and preventive maintenance programs to support safe, reliable, and efficient facility and equipment operations.


• Procure parts, materials, and maintenance supplies while monitoring expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings.


• Support troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of production and facility equipment by working closely with maintenance technicians and operational teams.


• Manage maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure accurate tracking and regulatory compliance.


• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and service providers to support facility improvements, repairs, calibrations, and maintenance projects.


• Support facility safety initiatives by coordinating compliance-related inspections, safety equipment maintenance, and contractor safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma/GED required.


• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field preferred.


• 3+ years of experience in maintenance coordination, industrial maintenance, or a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.


• Hands-on industrial maintenance experience with mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programs.


• Experience using a CMMS preferred.

Work Environment

• Environment: Primarily works in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, and temperature variations. Work in office setting for administrative tasks.


• Safety Requirements: Must adhere to all company safety policies, wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment), and comply with OSHA and facility safety standards.
