Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure smooth facility operations. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, respond to maintenance requests, and keep accurate records of work and inventory.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with hand and power tools, plus the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, checking and replacing filters, and inspecting systems for proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
