Jet Logistics Inc. in Johns Island, SC is seeking a Maintenance Controller to assist the Director of Maintenance with supervising the aircraft maintenance program for time-sensitive missions.

The role covers scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, record-keeping, tracking times and cycles, and serving as Maintenance on Call as needed. Requires an FAA A&P license (preferred), strong PC skills, and the ability to work hybrid in Johns Island.

Qualifications

• FAA-issued A&P license preferred.
• Excellent PC skills; knowledge of Veryon and Jet Insight (preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills, using tact and professionalism with strong oral and written communication.
• Flexibility in a rapidly changing organization.
• Must be able to commute to the office located in JZI.

Responsibilities

• Assist DOM with managing and overseeing the Company’s aircraft maintenance program.
• Assist DOM with supervision of all maintenance, both scheduled and unscheduled, including cleaning.
• Assist DOM with record keeping, including all Computerized Tracking updates and revisions.
• Assist DOM with tracking aircraft times and cycles.
• Covers duties as Maintenance on Call as a backup to the Director of Maintenance.
• Order parts for JLI aircraft when AOG and out of service.
• Liaison with Operations to coordinate out-of-service time for scheduled inspections.
• Assist with maintaining training records (Electronic and hard copies).
• Assist DOM with forecasting scheduled maintenance, aircraft conformity preparations, and keeping Operations Specifications current and accurate.
• Any other duties delegated to him/her by the Director of Maintenance

About the Role

Jet Logistics Inc., an FAA-certificated air carrier based in Johns Island, SC, is seeking qualified individuals to join our Maintenance team as Maintenance Controller. This role assists the Director of Maintenance with managing and overseeing the Company’s aircraftmaintenance program for Jet Logistics’ critical, time-sensitive missions, including organ transport and medical logistics operations.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Controller assists the Director of Maintenance with the supervision of all maintenance, both scheduled and unscheduled, and any other maintenance needed, including cleaning, record keeping, tracking aircraft times and cycles, and covers duties as “Maintenance on Call” as a backup to the Director of Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists DOM with managing and overseeing the Company’s aircraftmaintenance program
• Assists DOM with the supervision of all maintenance, both scheduled and unscheduled, and any other maintenance needed, including cleaning.
• Assists DOM with record keeping, including all Computerized Tracking updates and revisions

Compensation & Schedule

• Full-time position
• $65k-80k based on experience & qualifications
• Shift-based schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays as needed) – weekend availability is required, with flexible scheduling options (fixed Thurs-Mon shift or rotating weekend coverage)
