Job summary

Xtrordinair is seeking a full-time Maintenance Controller in Fort Worth to lead daily fleet maintenance. You will coordinate with OCC, flight crews, and vendors, ensure timely releases, and manage MELs under FAA guidelines with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates hold an A&P certificate and have 5+ years in corporate aviation maintenance, including Hawker 850/900, Gulfstreams or Falcons; TRAXXALL experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• A&P certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years in aircraft maintenance control or equivalent.
• 5 years corporate aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with Hawker 850/900, Gulfstreams or Falcons highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and concise verbal/written communication.
• Willingness to work weekends and varying shifts.
• Ability to travel for training or company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely manage daily maintenance requirements of the fleet.
• Coordinate with OCC, QC, customer service, vendors and flight crews.
• Provide high-level technical support to flight crews and vendors.
• Apply and manage fleet MELs and release MX work orders.
• Ensure accurate data entry in MX computer programs.
• Communicate RTS extensions to operations and oversight during MX events.
• Release aircraft for RTS per FAA and company guidelines.
• Oversee fleet during MX events and provide timely reports.

Aviation Maintenance Controller

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely manage daily maintenance requirements of the fleet in a timely manner.
• Responsible for coordinating with OCC, QC, Customer Service, MX Vendors, FBOs and Flight crews on maintenance events.
• Must convey a high level of technical support to flight crews and MX vendors.
• Responsible for applying and managing fleet MELs.
• Responsible for building, scheduling, and releasing fleet MX work orders.
• Ensure data is accurate and timely information is inputted with MX computer programs.
• Ensure accurate and timely information is conveyed to operations for AOG and return to service extensions.
• Responsible for oversight and management of fleet during MX events
• Responsible for releasing aircraft for RTS in accordance with company and FAA guidelines.
• Responsible for Airworthiness Releases and Special Flight Permits
• Ensure Fleet MX is monitored and completed in a timely manner.
• Must work harmoniously with the DOM, Chief Pilots, Managers, Pilots, MX Vendors, as well as outside OEMs and auditors.
• Responsible for providing shift turnovers and reports of sufficient detail to ensure open issues receive appropriate attention and follow through.

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Education:

• Must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills desirable
• Must have A&P certificate
• High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance control, maintenance supervisor, crew chief, or equivalent
• At least 5 years corporate aircraft maintenance experience. Specific experience on Hawker 850, 900, Gulfstreams, and Falcons highly desirable
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills
• Experience with TRAXXALL or other maintenance specific applications is highly desirable
• Must be a clear and concise verbal and written communicator
• Must be able to work weekends and second or third shift as well as occasional overtime
• Must be able to travel for training or other company requirements
