Job summary

Grant Aviation is seeking a Maintenance Controller to join the Alaska-based maintenance team. The role ensures aircraft safety and efficiency, maintaining compliance with FAA standards while supporting customers and operations.

The position requires an FAA mechanic certificate with A&P ratings, knowledge of FARs and maintenance programs, and the ability to coordinate with repair facilities and suppliers. Equal opportunity employer; background checks and drug testing may apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAA regulations and operations specifications.
• Maintenance manuals and related instructions knowledge.
• Must hold FAA mechanic certificate with A&P ratings.
• Ability to pass a 10-year background check and obtain SIDA badge.
• Driver's license required.
• At least 3 years' experience with maintenance and return-to-service for Part 121/135 operators.

Responsibilities

• Performing CASS audits and participating in CASS meetings.
• Building work packages for scheduled inspections and reviewing work packages for Return to Service.
• Ensuring maintenance programs are followed and managing the MEL status.
• Coordinating with Fleet Forecaster on aircraft availability for daily operations.
• Liaising with manufacturers and engineers for technical data.
