Job Title: Construction and Maintenance Technician

Nursing Home construction management company is looking to hire talented individuals to join our growing team.

Candidates must be highly skilled in the following areas:

• Plumbing
• Electrical work
• Painting / Spackling
• Tiling
• Reading engineering plans

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform painting, flooring, wallpapering, framing, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
2. Oversee contractors during professional repairs.
3. Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
4. Attend in-service educational programs and stay informed of facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding cleaning and infection control.
5. Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers and peers.
6. Assist in emergency procedures such as code E, fire, disaster, and healthcare emergencies as directed.
7. Follow the code of conduct, ensure resident privacy, and comply with HIPAA regulations.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Valid driver's license.
2. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
3. Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
4. Physical and mental demands include walking long distances, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English, hear spoken words, and tolerate cleaning chemicals with appropriate equipment.
