Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Maintenance Coater/Painter to apply coatings in containment areas and tanks, ensuring a safe, compliant work environment. You will work around hazardous materials, maintain coatings inventory, and assist with equipment repairs as part of a versatile maintenance team.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1+ years of relevant experience, with responsibilities that span from preparation to application and ongoing site upkeep.

• Experience painting and applying coatings in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices.
• Paints and applies coatings to containment areas, tanks, etc. to maintain a safe environment.
• Works safely with a variety of paints and coatings in areas storing hazardous materials.
• Utilizes best practices to ensure long-lasting coating/painting repairs.
• Prepares and cleans impacted areas, including grinding of old repair areas.
• Assists maintenance personnel with repair of equipment, pumps, and waste disposal.
• Operates a forklift to load/unload parts and equipment.
• Maintains tools and paint supplies in good condition and sufficient quantity.
• Assists in maintenance and refilling of carbon units; replaces insulation on pumps and lines.
• Takes on additional duties to support the team.

• Works safely with a variety of paints and coatings in areas storing hazardous materials
