Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited seeks an experienced Maintenance Lead for AM93 to oversee daily maintenance execution, coordinate technician workloads, monitor equipment performance, and uphold safety and reliability across critical assets.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality, and contractors to drive MTTR, OEE improvements, CMMS accuracy, and ongoing technician coaching and development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
• 2+ years leadership/supervision experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for the assigned shift.

About the Role

This role leads daily maintenance execution for AM93, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient delivery of maintenance services. It coordinates technician workloads, monitors equipment performance, and partners cross-functionally to resolve chronic equipment issues and improve reliability. The postholder drives adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards, maintenance procedures, documentation practices, and preventive maintenance strategies while supporting technician development through coaching, training, and performance feedback. The role works closely with Maintenance Technicians, Production Coaches, Engineers, Planning, Quality, Safety, and Operations leadership, as well as contractors, vendors, and technical specialists, to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement across AM93. It is critical to building a safe, reliable, and high-performing maintenance organisation that enables world‑class manufacturing performance at AM93.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for the assigned shift, assigning and prioritising work to ensure rapid response and effective execution.
• Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians to build technical capability and leadership readiness, supporting training completion and skill development plans.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Manage daily maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, and verify the quality of repairs to support equipment reliability and sustainability.
• Lead equipment breakdown response efforts, manage maintenance execution tempo, and conduct Gemba walks and equipment reviews on critical assets to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Utilise troubleshooting methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyse maintenance performance metrics and equipment reliability trends, driving improvements in Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and equipment uptime.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to resolve chronic equipment issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance documentation standards and CMMS processes, acting as CMMS lead/approver for work orders, maintenance planning activities, and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Nike safety policies, EHS procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain authorisation and oversight of safety-critical activities, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety practices
• Provide contractor oversight
• And drive achievement of site safety goals and key performance indicators.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team coaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
• Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.

Preferred Skills

• Technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent maintenance-related training.
• Experience with SAP CMMS or similar maintenance management systems.
• Experience leading reliability, TPM, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Previous experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.

Workplace

• Shift schedule: D2 – Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every other Monday, 5:30am–5:30pm.
• Work is based at the AM93 site.
