Amarillo ISD is hiring a skilled carpenter/painter foreman to maintain district facilities. You will perform carpentry work across buildings, install fixtures, read blueprints, and ensure safety. Qualifications

• Minimum education includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.
• Experience in carpentry or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic framing, fire walls, and drywall installation.
• Install windows and doors.
• Finish interiors including drywall, insulation, ceilings, partitions, and fixtures.
• Rough frame floors, beams, joists, and wall components.
• Exterior finishing and setting door/window frames and trim.
• Read blueprints and diagrams and work from sketches and verbal instructions.
• Measure accurately and estimate materials.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
