Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and repair maintenance on production and facility equipment, buildings, and grounds. The role includes assisting with installation or relocation of equipment and may require overtime, weekends, and shift work.

Qualified candidates typically have 1–3 years of experience with preferred Siemens CNC/PLC background and proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading schematics.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years’ experience preferred.
• Siemens CNC and/or PLC automation background preferred.
• Proficient with welding equipment acetylene torch, stick, and MIG-wire welder.
• Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with a proven mechanical ability.
• Proficient in using a computer for accessing and entering work orders.
• Rigging and lifting knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative, Predictive, and Repair maintenance on production and facility equipment, buildings and grounds using applicable documents and tools.
• Aid in installation or relocation of equipment.
• Work any shift, weekends, shutdowns, and overtime when needed.
• May perform other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety rules.

1. Day/Solar Shift. 6a-2p OR 6a-6p.
2. Job Responsibilities:
3. Required to perform Preventative, Predictive, and Repair maintenance on, but not limited to, production equipment, facility equipment, buildings, and grounds. These task to be performed using appropriate documents and/or tools.
4. Required to aid in the installation or the re-location of equipment.
5. Required to work any shift, weekends, shutdowns, and overtime when needed.
6. May be required to do other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
7. Required to adhere to all safety rules

9. Required to maintain regular attendance and can work in team environment.
10. Self-motivated.
11. Machines and Equipment Involved:
12. Required to use, and be proficient with, a Multi-Meter, Oscilloscope preferred, and other electrical measuring devices when needed.
13. Required and be proficient in reading and understanding electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, schematics and diagrams.
14. Depending on operation, will use any or all, but not limited to, the following as applicable: welding tools including mig, arc, gas braze and diagnostic equipment.
15. Educational Requirements:

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
