Job Description
We are actively seeking several Maintenance/Automation Technicians on all shifts! Pay rates up to $35/HR. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 or more years of experience in a technical, hands-on maintenance position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all required preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Check and maintain product quality by identifying acceptable and non-acceptable products in accordance with Quality policies and procedures.
- Respond to machine alarms and identify root causes.
- Follow all 5S guidelines.
- Perform and document inspections per cGMP for work instruction sheets, device history records, and work instruction sheet tables.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic or mechanical malfunctions on various machines.
- Adjust assembly machine units for production following department specifications.
- Repair and maintain electrical controls on equipment, including servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines and devices based on electronic principles.
- Upload programs to controls during program loss or CPU replacement.
- Repair robot arms and controls, including replacing boards, motors, encoders, etc.
- Calibrate and adjust robot pick-and-place locations as needed.
- Conduct TPM activities as required.
- Input maintenance work orders into SAP.
- Monitor processes, identify issues, and demonstrate corrective actions.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for safety, quality, and processing issues.
- Operate presses, robots, and auxiliary equipment to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
- Troubleshoot equipment by observing operation and identifying problems.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel and external support as needed.
- Restore damaged or malfunctioning equipment through repairs and adjustments.
- Schedule repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a list of ongoing projects with timelines.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical, hands-on role.
- Experience with injection molding.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (AB, Koyo, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.).
