Position: Maintenance Assistant

Salary Range: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Department by ensuring that the facility environment is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Assist with the operation, repair, and maintenance of boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, and other equipment in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

Must Have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience in the operation of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, etc.
• Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
• Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
• Ability to plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation.
• Ability to control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
