Adams Fairacre Farms, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Associate to ensure the store remains clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and employees. You will help with daily cleaning, basic upkeep, and assisting customers by loading items and addressing issues promptly.

Responsibilities include maintaining bathrooms, floors, and exterior walkways, removing carts, handling waste, and supporting occasional deliveries. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a friendly, accommodating attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep store floors and walkways clean and safe by sweeping, mopping, handling spills, and using wet floor signs.
• Maintain clean and stocked bathrooms at all times.
• Load heavy items for customers when needed.
• Remove carts from the parking lot and take out garbage as needed.
• Perform general property upkeep, including shoveling, salting, sanding, and basic landscaping.
• Sweep and maintain exterior walkways.
• Complete additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned, including floor scrubber use or local deliveries.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide friendly, helpful service and assist customers when needed, including loading heavy items

• Complete additional cleaning or maintenance tasks IF assigned, including using a floor scrubber or making local customer deliveries

Working Conditions

• Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Pushing up to 6-7 carts at a time.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and temperatures.
• Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shift
• Communicate with others to exchange information
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks including in tight and confined spaces
