Job summary

St Agnes Parish in Naples, FL is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Associate to assist with general maintenance for parish events and weekend Masses.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, the ability to work indoors and outdoors, and weekend availability. You must lift up to 50 lbs, pass a post-offer physical, and have a valid driver’s license. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with responsibilities across facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have basic maintenance skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, twist, push, pull as needed.
• Must be available to work on weekends when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a post-offer physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for light cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds as needed.
• Set up for scheduled events and meetings.
• Adhere to proper cleaning methods, storage, and proper care of equipment and supplies.
• General maintenance including changing light bulbs, cleaning, restocking bathrooms if needed, and minor repairs.
• Lockdown and opening facilities and/or gates for parish events.
• Observe and promote safe work practices and procedures by following local, state, and OSHA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
